In seventeen years, FCNI has served 1,672 foster children/youth with an 85% overall success ratio.
 



Family Care Network, Inc. was founded as a California public benefit corporation in August of 1987 for the purpose of creating family-based treatment programs as an alternative to group home or institutional care of children and youth. The agency serves San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties through multiple programs designed to strengthen and preserve families and individuals; which are delivered in partnership with public and private agencies and the community. Presently, the Family Care Network provides 17 distinct programs in five service divisions, including: Therapeutic Foster Care Services; Family Support Services; Delinquency Prevention and School-Based Services; Transitional Housing Services; and Community-Link Services.
