Why Get Involved:
The mission of the Family Care Network is to "enhance the wellbeing of children and families in partnership with our community." Each member of the community brings a unique skill, talent, or resource that has the potential to impact the lives of the children and families served by the agency. Not only are those we serve impacted by the gifts themselves, but also by the simple fact that their community cares for them. Giving of your time, talent, or funds demonstrates to children and families that they are part of a circle of serving, part of a community that cares about their wellbeing, giving them hope for a brighter future. Therefore, the Family Care Network would not be capable of impacting our community's children and families in such a profound way without the support of individual community members who choose to "get involved."

Primary program funding sources are often limited in scope, covering only direct services and limited basic needs (shelter, clothing, medical expenses, etc.) of those we serve. It is our goal as an agency to provide services that go beyond primary program funding in order to provide a sense of normalcy and security to the children and families in our care. These needs can include anything from music lessons for a young child to helping a foster youth transition from system dependence to adult independence.
