The Family Care Network currently operates five main programs within its Therapeutic Foster Care Service Division. Within these five programs, the agency offers eight different options for those wishing to serve as a foster parent. All of these positions receive monetary compensation, in addition to excellent training and agency support.
Emergency Shelter Care
Immediate foster care that is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week for abused, neglected or disrupted youth. Shelter Care is a short-term intervention with the intent of reunifying child/youth with family or to a more permanent placement.
Therapeutic Foster Care
Family-based treatment designed to stabilize children/youth, helping them transition back to family, to independence or to another permanent living situation.
Intensive Therapeutic Foster Care
A foster family specially trained in caring for an emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged child/youth, coupled with intensive clinical services provided by the Family Care Network.
Crisis-Stabilization Foster Care
Family-based short-term crisis-stabilization in a structured behavioral management system to support emotionally and/or behaviorally challenging children/youth that are experiencing an acute crisis, with the intent of family reunification or transition to a more permanent placement.
Wraparound Foster Care
Family-based treatment in a very structured behavioral management system to support emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged children/youth as they work o reunify with family or a more permanent placement.
Fost-Adopt Foster Care
Family-based foster placement designed to care for children/youth with the intent of adopting child/youth.
Respite Foster Care
As a support to our foster parents, the agency provides respite care allowing the foster families to take a break.
Host Homes (Transitional Age Youth)
A family-based model for the agency’s transitional age youth (16-18) who are in the process of aging out of the foster care system. The agency provides youth in Transitional Housing substantial one-on-one counseling, support, instruction and guidance.
